I just started golfing, and while I have a small advantage of natural athleticism/fluidity, I'm a terrible slicer. I'm talking 80% of my shots are hard slices. I watched this video last night, let it marinate in my head and slept on it. Went to the range today and completely flipped the script. 80% of my shots were straight down the middle with minimal lateral movement. Unreal just how effectively simple and simply effective this guy and his knowledge is. Unreal.
As someone that used to struggle with a slice, I started using the "low, slow, and to the top" swing thought which along with a stronger grip changed my swing path to in-to out and now I play a draw and hit the ball so much farther. Great video!
Very good teacher man. I’m a PGA Golf Instructor and your teaching is amazing. I’m definitely going to send this video to my students. Thank you.
I would love a video showcasing several different practice drills for a range session or at home, that allow a person to go through the whole bag
Grant, following your swing mechanics from this video, I went out today 04/24/2025, I shot my best round in 6 months. I found for myself, taking my hands closer to my body and keeping the hands inside of the club worked best for me. The swing in general felt so much better. Can’t wait to get back on the course! Thanks so much😃
Such a good teach! 🔥
Found this YT video yesterday and went to range. Been struggling badly and had gotten into some old habits. It took about 25 balls before it started to click. Hit it as well as I have in months. Hoping it shows up in tournament this weekend. Thanks Grant for this simple fix and for not ‘over instructing’ with too many brain drains at once.
Love your instruction! Would love a very detailed setup video. Ball position, alignment, posture, spine tilt, just nerd all the way out!
28 years addictive golfer here and the slow first 2 feet take way line is single best tip i ever gotten. Hit a drive with little draw 285 almost all carry high up there looking so beautiful. Thnx😂
Love the way your putting it across in simple terms that I can understand, most of the time I get lost in all the terminology used.
Can you please do a video on the setup? Ball position relative to your stance, how far back you should be, etc. for each club? Driver, fairway wood, iron, wedge. Thanks.
Thank you Grant for a great lesson. I went to my home course today and played nine holes. Usually I shoot around 42or43 after nine. Today I shot 38. Your the best
Hey Grant! I’m a junior golfer and love your teaching channel. It’s helped me SO much!
Keep these coming Grant. They're awesome. Need a video on ball then turf contact.
I did this last night at the range. and fixed my hook. Best simple lessons on YouTube no gimmicks or frills thumbs up grant carry on
the first good video i’ve ever rlly been able to watch with ease
I appreciate your simple techniques: low and slow!
u fixed my putt with low and slow. I make sure i drag the putter on the ground in back swing for 2 inches when i hit it. It gave me way more power and accuracy.. thanks Grant!
The video is right on-point! I've found that if I hover the club behind the ball, my first move is always straight back and not inside...it helps me from coming over the top. Great video, Grant.
