I think it would be helpful if miniverse came with alcohol wipes. Seems like it wohldnt be super expensive and would definitely make life easier
If I was a kid now… I would have FLIPPED out for the mini verse stuff!!! I was obsessed with mini anything .. still am! So these are wayyy cool imo!
Be careful with uncured resin, guys! (Yep, even UV resin.) The fumes aren't really a big deal from these, because it's such a small amount of resin and UV resin cures so fast (once it's cured, it's safe) or you're curing in outdoors. But you should not let uncured resin touch your skin! Even in small amounts. It's not good for your skin. And I've heard about people developing an allergy to other acrylic compounds because of getting uncured resin on their skin (usually from gel nail products). And we use acrylic compounds in a lot of things - dental fillings is one that stuck out to me. You might not end up having any issues. I've been lucky so far. But if you're exposed a lot, have other similar allergies, or are generally sensitive to things. And with small amounts of UV resin like this, it's really easy to protect yourself - wear gloves or just fully cure the resin before touching it/cleaning it up.
I'm just going to put the resin straight into the cup to avoid mess 😁
It's a very cute idea, but it's definitely a messy thing to deal with. I feel like the experience of making a tiny coffee is worth it, though!
I cured the resin onto the machine and then peeled it off. And then cured the sticky residue onto the machine. Worked amazing with no mess
Resin is a nightmare to get off of skin if you’re like me and you don’t wear gloves (I know I should), so here’s a tip: you can use hand sanitizer to get it off or a spray bottle filled with rubbing alcohol, it gets it off so much easier than water and soap. But it can be helpful to put lotion on afterwards because the rubbing alcohol/ hand sanitizer can really dry out your hands
If you cure it it peels off pretty easily, that’s how I save my mini verse spoons
These mini things that actually work heal my inner child, i want them so badddd
Just a heads up, these have been recalled due to the dangers the resin holds before it cures. Of course if you use the gloves and goggles it says to get and do it outside or Ina well ventilated room it probably won't be dangerous. Anyhoo, just thought I'd share this with y'all.
As the resin is opaque you need to cure it in thin layers not in one large blob which will leave you with uncured resin a the bottom where the UV light couldn't get to.
POV you love watching other people open mini verse balls but never owned one yourself
While the drip feature from the coffee maker to the cup is cute, I think I'd skip it and pour from the bottle to the cup. However, using the machine to make a frozen moment would be cool. Coffee dripping from the machine to the cup with an already made cup next to it.
Nail polish remover works the best for me, if you look online you will probably find little wipes that are perfect for resin removal. I recommend
I used to work as a barista, so cleaning the appliances isn't something I wouldn't already be familiar with. It makes it realistic! 😉
Hey guys please be careful when playing with resin. Remember to wear gloves and work in a ventilated area (wear a mask if you can) Resin can be really dangerous and can cause lots of problem
You need to let the resin fall naturally if you squeeze it falls too quick and then you don't have enough. I found draining slowly collects all the drops that are left behind 😊
I recognize that product. We just had a recall on over 200 of these at our Target. Don't know why. But they weren't really selling at the time anyways. 🤷
So cute, love the appliances!
