I think It's important to realize that genshin is kind of the game that gives you fomo. It means that you are scared that you will miss something, in this case primogems and events etc., and it can be really bad for your mental health and sometimes life comfort. It can cause you being tired of the game but still playing it because of fear of missing something because you can believe that this kind of burnout is just temporary. In most cases it isn't and it gets even worse. In my case, I have the best time playing genshin since I realized that I don't really need to log in every day or do dailies etc. Now I log in whenever I feel like it and do whatever I want in genshin. Don't need to stress about meta or doing smth that has time limit.

This tip might not be for everyone but i believe tcg is the true endgame of genshin if u ever feel the burnout kicking in try online tcg

@Abbanellie

I haven't watched yet but artifact farming is 100% burning me out for no reason. Farm talent and weapon domains, and bosses first. Its so much more rewarding

@Discerned_

A small tip I try to have reflects real life. Have an in game emergency fund. Have a few fragile resin, some primos, or mora, that you will keep on hand but never use. For me at least. I find having a little emergency fun of resources to be comforting, even if it is suboptimal.

The timing for this video is UNREAL

@kopaano

I recently started playing Genshin again after a 3 year long break! Back in 2021 I played a TON just before and in the beginning of Inazuma. Trying to 100% every area, build characters and save primos just put me in a burn out. But now that I'm back, trying to 100% everything has been so much fun! I don't feel like I've missed out on so much that I can't keep up, but I also currently have a lot of free time, so for a casual player I can understand it being too much. I'm just sad I soon won't have much to do in terms of exploration... but then I can focus more on building my characters and completing difficult achievements.

@pine_corgi

I personally like playing aimlessly, Becuase I don’t want to add unwanted stress to complete things like spiral abyss..Thanks for a great video!!!

@M_Johnson

My main goal for my Genshin account as of right now is to build every character and FILL my inventory with materials

@Donotdotodo

What a unique timing. As someone who has been playing genshin for almost 3.3 years i can say i have never felt this burned out like ever. This version is so blank with no content but i still force myself to log in as i need to save and collect primos for mavuika and alre. I have never been this frustrated with this game as i have now lmao.

@Unknown-rl1xt

PERFECT TIMING FOR BREAKFAST

@sad-mulbery

One tip is to watch something interesting or talk to someone while u are doing dailies etc. Genuinely everything like farming can be so boring but once u have something else occupying u then its all a breeze to do.

Also, this is the most important imo,genshin isnt worth your mental stress at all,if u notice u feel like u have to log in or else ure missing out,u should get away from it cause thats just predatory gacha game nature getting to u. This game is not worth 'maining'. I only log in for story updates and it finally feels like im playing the game correctly.

@pfeilinger4463

this is a great video. i am playing since launch, but i have taken multiple breaks at times for more than a year, i just came back at the end of 5.0 in the last hours to finish the story to get the 500 primos and have now at least for the third time completed the stellar reunion, even though i believe it might be even more times. my characters are terribly build, i have no ressources, but i have a lot of fun right now with the game and this is the most important thing :)

@Atlantis_Z3R0

I love ur voice so much. Its so calming and cute.

@czaetc.8743

Just started Genshin recently, so my main goal is still to complete all the Archon Quests, but may have to return to this video somewhere down the line, lots of great advice!

@ilmelonsoda

This vid popped up just as soon as I felt tired, thank you and its great to see you back!<3

@generalalatusfallingin

It is very true that progression in genshin is different for each player. I enjoy everything that the game offers from the story to the exploration to the character building and even combat. I can easily understand how players can become burnt out, especially if you are a late game player like me who has basically done it all. The one thing that made me stay was character building. TCG, Spiral Abyss and the new Imaginarium Theater are all very rewarding in their own way. I can work towards obtaining the new echos and emotes in the Theater and the Abyss always presents a new challenge that tests my knowledge. I am always excited to see improvements in future content, especially changes like the new co-op event! I’m literally begging for more co-op styled end game!!

@zephyrsbujo

i've been playing for a bit over a month and i overdid it in the start by playing so many hours in a day to the point of having a migraine, now i'm not as hyperfixated so i'm playing less but doing more in a way 😅 your guides are definitely helpful in managing my playing 💚

@ace_syo

I almost got burnt out. I pulled for Kinich and saved 70 pulls. I lost my 50-50 to Mona. I went back to farming primos again and explored Natlan and Dragonspine. I finally got him at 82 pity.
It was my mistake that I started saving so late, but it was very stressful hahaha

@XxDellamorte

One of my personal ways to avoid burnout when I want to play but don't want to push myself to do tedious things is to just wander, gathering materials, and defeating enemies when I encounter them. All while not checking the map. It's a lot of fun 😊

@xs3011

I missed having plenty of new videos from you to watch, I’m so glad you’re back 🥹 you’re really the same type of player as me, so I love your content sm! <3
