Fender Jazz Bass for me. Got that Coolness that needed for this riff.
Thunderbird gave it the perfect touch of muddiness.
That grabber!! I don't play bass but if I did . . . That's the sound I'd want 💯🙌🏻
For this song, the Gibsons sounded killer.
If the speakers and amp are the same in these examples, its just the pickups and placement of them that are the difference in tone. Most of that you can probably EQ to where you want it. So its comes down to which you like to play, comfort wise. You can get whatever sound you want, don't need to spend a few grand on it.
Pretty good the first one for being Squiere
the squier held it's own against the other 3. The jazz bass tho had extra something special to it. Grabber, not bad at all. I still don't like the thunderbird look but I'll give it props for tone
FENDER jazz bass!😎👍👍☝️🇺🇸🇺🇸
Jazz Bass is forever earned its place. All great instruments even the budget guy.
Grabber 76 had that deeeeeeep tone. The Thunderbird was a pleasure to listen to.
Fender for Bass Gibson for Guitar Ludwig for Drums Hammond B3 for Keys anything else is just for decoration!
That 1976 sounds so good
I have an old squier vm series when they still used the Duncan pickups. That bass is the most solid pbass I've owned in my life and those pickups are magic. I'll stick with a good squier pbass for the rest of my life cause of it. The classic vibes are great too. I also have a bronco bass I got for 50 bucks that I absolutely love as well. Squier all day for me on bass
The squier sounds killer, it got a brighter tone..
that Grabber made me teeth shiver! that was beautiful
It doesn't matter how much your bass cost, you are still just the bass player. I have used the same Stingray for 20 years and played everything from blues to punk with it and I am still just the bass player. Wasting more money wouldn't change my happiness.
Меня музыканты щас тапками поди закидают, но мне так нравится самый дешевый вариант. Оно какое-то жесткое и брутальное, аж хорошо.
Even as a Bassist, that first was just sounded so satisfying
Honestly that squire sounded dope. Best of the lot
