An extra to this: if you want a villager to leave but have NEVER talked to them, they won't leave, even if they're not your "most recent villager". Learned this the hard way

IF YOU WANT A NON-DREAMIE TO LEAVE, YOU MUST BE BEST FRIENDS WITH THEM. (take it from me, i’ve done this 3 times now). i hate when people say to smack them with a net or something but in reality, they’ll just leave when they feel like their life has been fulfilled on your island. that’s why they always say they’re seeking a new life or something.

Every time I've had Shino on my island, no matter how recently she moved in or not, she's just always been the quickest villager to try and move out on my island and it's wiiiild because she's one of my favorites! I talk to her all the time and give her lots of presents that are things she'd genuinely like, so idk what exactly I'm doing wrong here 😅

Each of My villagers have thought bubbles like 12 times a day and its so annoying bc im so excited fkr them to move out then they say “ive been lonley at home, wanna come over and talk“ or “heres someting that you wanted its a ____“

I’ve had my newest villager ask to move out b4, now it wasn’t like the next day or anything so like a month after they’ve moved in but they’re still the last one, like I just had the brown eagle guy ( the last villager to move it) ask to move out.

I learned the perfect trick for getting a thought bubble on an exact villager and it’s worked every time 1. Shower the villager you want gone with a lot of attention and gifts 2. Time travel 15 days into the future 3. That should give the villager the thought bubble to move out but if they’re not outside their house time travel a day forward You’re all welcome and good luck everyone on getting your dreamies!!!❤

Hii so one of my recent villagers I got from the beginning was cherry, and she wanted to move out after a few years of playing animal crossing! So it’s not true that your recent villagers won’t move out, but it will take different times for every villager❤

I hate that you can't have the newest villager move out. I had an island full of villagers I loved and a piece of TRASH that moved in from my friend's island (Chops). You can't take out the trash without making a sacrifice. It's a bummer
