Honestly Dohwa could've stay platonic, their relationship is more suited for friendship rater than romance
As someone who used to read Webtoon religiously, like in the days where I Love Yoo had like 27 episodes out and Lore Olympus was barely starting to get attention, Sweet Home was starting up and UnOrdinary was like a main reason people had Webtoon- Operation True Love was the first Webtoon I binge read in like, 4 years. It’s like such a fun and entertaining comic and the characters have me either laughing or kicking my feet like a crazy person- or absolutely burning with the rage of a thousand suns T^T. Even though the plot may be seemingly basic I think its well done- I’m also so happy both of the love interests are like actually green flags too. Eunhyeok I love with my entire heart but Dohwa ….Dohwa I cry over fr :’3
The way su ae wrote her manhwa ending to be the ml dying of Breast cancer sends me everytime-
This is one of the few really popular webtoons that are actually good and fun to read
girl, can we read afterschool classes for unripe apples. it is the cutest thing ever, such a gentle story
i really recommend romance 101, the best healthiest couple in webtoon history
I feel like I'm at a sleepover where there's always that one girl who has encyclopediac level knowledge of all the drama going on at her school.
i think one of the reasons operation true love has really taken off is because all of the characters are so fully realized -- except for minu lol. but even raim, you can understand why she does what she does without necessarily justifying her. she's so starved for love, but it's parental love that she's missing, and she's looking for it in all the wrong places. eunhyeok comes off as rude and closed-off because his family situation has caused him to become guarded for fear being hurt so deeply again. dohwa comes off as someone who has everything but he's also so good at keeping everyone at arms-length that no one realizes how bad he's struggling to keep afloat on his own, and also no one is bothering to look. suae is naturally so open and loving because her parents did their best to love her and now she has so much love to give back but minu took that love for granted and now she's become a people pleaser and doesn't even realize when people are taking advantage of her kindness. at the start of the comic i was wondering what the ceo god took in as love for suae to be considered unloved because she clearly is very loved by her parents and friends. she's considerate, kind, and self-less, and she clearly learned it from her parents. even raim, despite all the jealousy she feels, still loves her as a friend and sister. how is it possible that she has no love points. love isn't just romantic. but i think now i'm starting to understand that's kind of the whole point of the comic. the ceo god has been so myopic in what love is, he never considered familial love & friendships; how loves comes in various different forms and it's all around -- so long as you don't take it for granted. and also how love can turned into other feelings if we don't handle our emotions correctly. idk if that's the actual takeaway from the story but it's what i've taken from it.
I would choose Dohwa for myself in a heartbeat but I know Eunhyeok is better for Suae in the long run it truly is a predicament also yay I love this comic so much it brings me so much joy
Girl, I think you should check out after school lessons for unripe apples!! It’s such a wholesome story and it’s pretty funny too!!!
Webtoons are honestly so underrated. They’re so good and a great way for artists and writers to get their work seen

I'm aroace and read it for the friendships (I love that she befriends the guys too) and mystery, so seeing someone else have a really different reaction from me was a lot of fun 😂 Recommendations: - 🇰🇷How to Become a Dragon (about Korean mythology and fairy tales, lots of fun) - 🇰🇷Emperor Hunt (one woman is the sole survivor of the end of the world and decides to get revenge) - 🇰🇷With Tony (a survivor of an apocalypse who has depression and anxiety finds a puppy and learns to take care of him) - 🇰🇷Sisters at War (the daughters of a famous artist fights for her approval) - 🇰🇷Knife in Her Heart (terminally ill girl befriends depressed girl and they build each other up) - 🇺🇸(?) Cursed Princess Club (a fun take on fairy tale tropes about self-acceptance) - 🇺🇸 City of Blank (a guy in a world where there are creatures stealing other's faces travels to a mysterious town to find out who killed his brother) - 🇺🇸 Fictional Skin (about some young teens in the mid-2000s, weirdly nostalgic and strange characters) - 🇸🇦Watermelon (About two siblings trying to survive in a harsh world) - 🇹🇼 The Witch and the Bull (a witch is trying to live as a normal human, but one day the King's advisor is turned into a bull due to a curse she created and she wants to help him to be cured) - 🇹🇼 Do You Remember (One day a guy's younger brother disappears and he and his best friend are the only ones who remembers him) - 🇦🇺Blood Inc. (a country turns assassinations legal and a mercenary group wants to reverse the law... By killing higher ups in the system) And more..!
you always manage to do content on my most niche interests 😭<3
