Never mind how Luigi glossed over winning a contest he didn't enter. That man is a blue collar worker who should know a thing or two about how much work an abandon mansion would take. If anything should scare him off, it's not the ghosts, it's seeing the leaks everywhere and realizing what kind of hellish installs are probably lurking behind the walls.

@HBMmaster

I know it's literally a haunted mansion but the rug under the bathtub is the most cursed thing in the building

@kalevipoeg6916

Luigi is a plumber AND at some points the brothers have been carpenters - he's pretty handy. I'd say he and Mario can handle a lot of the work themselves! Plus, between Peach and Daisy, their ladies have got them covered with that royal money.

@zachariahfaulkner6497

Thankfully, if you 100% the game, you'd be sitting on a hefty pile of money to the tune of 150,000,000 dollars. and that's just the gamecube version

@raphaeldagamer

I like how there is a literal Gameboy Color in the game, but instead we're using pool cues for our scale.

@AGrayPhantom

Mario and Luigi can cut costs by doing a lot of the work by themselves. They've also surely amassed a fortune in their adventures.

@DaNintendude

Here's the plus side to all of this:
The mansion is FILLED with MONEY AND GEMS. There has GOT to be enough money to cover all the renovations.
I know a lot of the money comes from the ghosts, but there's still a lot of gems in cupboards and chests everywhere. If Luigi can get enough money to fund the building of an entire new mansion, there's a LOT of money there.

But also, uhhh, I wouldn't recommend renovating the house. It's technically an illusion created by King Boo, so odds are, the whole thing is gonna disappear in the middle of renovating. Idk what will happen to all the stuff you've already replaced, but I feel like it's likely to come crumbling down. Just focus on collecting all the money you can find, and then plan out a better designed house to live in instead. E Gadd lives just outside the property, and he'll be happy to build it for you. He's gonna do a thorough job, but he's very money-efficient, and he'll be able to use the leftover cash for his experiments. I've heard he's been planning on selling his ghost collection and going to build a lab at the Gloomy Manor in Evershade Valley.

@fisherdotogg

Anterooms don't necessarily lead into connecting rooms. An anteroom is a waiting room, you take guests there as they arrive until they are all arrived and/or the room the party is held in is ready. That the anteroom here connects to a closet is actually really smart! It means party guests could easily change into something before attending the party proper!

@Jargonfox

The radiator explanation around 23:26 made me giggle, talking about it like it's some old forgotten technology whereas here in Finland pretty much every home still has those.

@Mausolebunn

"I'm not licenced, but I /dabble/" is a really good one sentence horror story. very on theme 0:22

@countingthepointlessstuff5413

Ah, another hour to spend watching oddly specific things on stuff I've never had to ask myself. Splendid.

@hiitstofu

I feel like you've found your niche.

If I could make a recommendation.

Snow peak ruins from twilight princess. Bring a coat.

@darkninjafirefox

HGTV at my therapists office wishes it could be as entertaining as this

@Lugia714

As someone who works with fireplaces myself, good luck finding someone not charging another arm and a leg to extend the hearth on (assuming) full masonry fireplaces. Also those chimney stacks/chases definitely need to be inspected for structural damage which could lead to more work needing to be done. GREAT JOB WITH THE CLEARANCES MENTION 🤝 GET THAT COMBUSTIBLE SURROUND AWAY FROM THE FIREPLACE OPENING.

Anyways, I’m subscribing. I think maybe another cool mansion to look at would be snowpeak ruins from TP but also that place has a whole armory in it so renovations would again need a lot of specialists

@ycradnoswal6040

When i was a little kid, it was my dream to become rich and build a replica of this mansion to live in. Now as an adult, youve gotten me one step closer lol. Thank you, good sir!

@h4retic

Craziest part of this video is the fact that you had to explain what a RADIATOR is. I'm Irish, and I don't think I've ever been in a house without at least three of them, and most all public buildings have them. Absolutely wild to me lol.

@boatmantheman

I love it when youtubers make use of their work experience to provide unique commentary. Its always so fun.

@Veotax

Was pretty funny having radiators explained like they're a thing that aren't around anymore, when they're very common here in the UK. Even my flat that was built like three years ago has them. HVAC in homes basically isn't a thing here, unless you're rich and had it put in or built a home with it.

@Roosauec

Watching your video, I like to imagine Luigi hired you for a consultation, and you were explaining everything you needed to do to bring his mansion up to code. And that's why he just decided to tear it down and build a new one.

@TheLonelyGoomba

This is the sorta content I enjoy.
