Good base idea : find a structure leave it unlooted and see if there’s any type of water cave or just a cave in general around the vicinity of the structure like you did with your second base but… once you make the base after hiding it inside of that cave make it a diversion base then make something that looks like an necessity like a mining section or a entrance into an exit to your real base… BUT MAKE THAT SECOND BASE AFTER THE SECRET BASE INTO A DIVERSION BASE… MAKE A SPECIFIC PATTERN OF ANYTHING INTO A REDSTONE SIGNAL THAT OPENS A SECRET DOOR TO YOUR FINAL BASE THAT IS AT MINIMUM 500 BLOCKS AWAY… DURING THE PATH TO THE LAST BASE MAKE A DIVERSION ROUTE THAT LEADS TO YOUR ACTUAL BASE BUT MAKE SURE IF THEY DON’T GO DOWN THE ACTUAL ROUTE MAKE A BASE AT THE END OF THE DIVERSION ROUTE… one more single detail is to make all of the roots into caves so that they will struggle trying to find the actual one…and there… they will never find it
