He was the most human person in the ganja group (with Veko). He knew that he has done terrible thing even if it wasn't his fault. And he wanted to be punished for it. And even after losing his humanity....he stayed human, he wanted to help Faputa to see things from different point of view
Clearly one of the best character in all Made in Abyss

@agenda3854

He was too good for this world

@altaica3522

The creation of the village is such a powerful scene i can't get over it

@jordanvalencia9597

Irumyuii forgave him, thus his transformation, she knew he very repentant for having eaten her 'Children' without knowing what it was he ate. so she made him beautiful.

@izurukamukura9095

Belaf reminds me of a plane crash victim who died because he refused to eat the only source of food available to him and the others (who survived), which was the remains of the deceased passengers. He, like Belaf, thought the sin was too great and didn't want to do it.

@mellrhoades7818

3:45 What a fucking performance from belaf's VA

@RE1GNITED

@requiemgrandproductions9624

The real MVP of season 2

@jaelin4000

youd honestly thing iru would spare him, maybe she was just reacting to his strong desires however, i digress its not as if he was like the rest, even veuko ate her children with less regret than him. he would have rather died, he damn near lost his sanity. yet she was spared and he wasnt, obviously he wasnt close like they were but still damn
