Dust: An Elysian Tail is a soon-to-be-released 2D side-scrolling action role-playing game developed by Humble Hearts and published by Microsoft Studios. Unlike many other games, Dust: An Elysian Tail is essentially created by a one-man team, game designer Dean Dodrill being the person behind the Humble Hearts brand. The game is expected to hit the Xbox 360 market on August 15, 2012.
The game, set in the gorgeous world of Falana, introduces the main protagonist Dust as a heroic fighter focused on liberating an oppressed village, whilst at the same time trying to rediscover his past. In order to prevail in his quest, he'll rely on the ancient sword Ahrah and on his supportive pal, Fidget.
Dust: An Elysian Tail is a game that offers both exciting narrative as well as intense gameplay, all wrapped up in a beautifully animated HD world.
