Both of these hormones relate to stress.

Adrenaline prepares the body for "fight or flight" responses. It increases heart rate, expands air passages, and boosts blood flow.

Cortisol on the other hand, helps to regulate the response to stress. It plays a role in metabolism, blood pressure, immune response and mood.

The Adrenal glands are said to be governed by the Solar Plexus chakra. The Solar Plexus is located in your abdomen near the diaphragm. The Solar Plexus is believed to control our energy, confidence, metabolism and emotions.
