Tokyo Chikara Meshi has my favourite/go to gyudon in Tokyo where I live. There are so many and by no means am I saying that it's the best, never the less, I go often. Gyudon is quite simple as much Japanese food is, yet needs to be executed well. Beef is simmered or BBQ's with its sauce base containing soy sauce, sugar, mirin and or sake (i.e Teriyaki Sauce).
