Anna's First International Track Championship🏃♀️➡️ Life in Japan EP 312
Our twin daughters just joined a track team for the very first time, and not even two months later, Anna's competing in the Far East Track Championship — a major event for international schools in Japan.
We had no idea what to expect as first-time “track parents,” but from nervous warmups to screaming encouragement during their races, we experienced it all. Anna qualified for multiple events and ran her heart out in her championship debut. Ruth shares what it’s like as a mom watching her girls compete, and we take you through the highs, lows, and emotional handoffs of the day.
🎥 Come along for a special look into this unforgettable family moment as we experience the track scene in Japan!
📍Bonus Travel Tip: Hitachi Seaside Park (ひたち海浜公園) — one of Japan’s most beautiful flower parks. Known for its stunning seasonal displays like baby blue nemophila in spring and fiery red kochia bushes in fall, it’s a must-see destination if you’re ever in Ibaraki Prefecture!
